Valle y Cía, established the Punch brand in 1840, intended for the British market where a weekly satire magazine of the same name was in very popular at the time. A figure of ‘Punch’, a cigar in hand, was until very recently still featured in the box decoration of these coveted mid-taste Habanos. |
